Follow these care tips to make your wool garment last longer:
- Hand wash in cold water.
- Use a mild, neutral soap.
- Do not use bleach.
- Not suitable for the tumble dryer.
- Dry flat, without wringing the garment.
- Iron on a medium setting.
A merino wool secret: it needs airing more than washing. The fibre has natural properties that keep the garment fresh for far longer than cotton. After each wear, let it air out flat for a few hours, and only wash it when it truly needs it. Your garment will last twice as long, and you'll use half the water.
