FUJI SERIES
Inspired by Japan's most iconic sacred mountain, Mount Fuji, in this series we have played with a symbolic combination of colors. On one side, the eternal white that crowns its peak with snow in winter or clouds in summer and on the other, the changing tones of the passage of time that alternate on its slope, so
different depending on the time of day or the time of year.
Each color in the Fuji Series evokes a moment or a landscape: the fresh green of a tea field in spring, the light brown of a torrid summer afternoon, the deep red of tree leaves in autumn, the intense blue of a winter morning, and the anthracite gray of a serene moonless night.
WHY MERINO WOOL?
At Happy Belly, we believe that clothes don't just dress us, they also care for us. That's why we work with natural fibers that provide us with daily well-being. Merino wool stands out for its softness against the skin, and we chose this fiber for many reasons:
- It is soft and gentle on the skin , ideal for garments such as haramaki, which come into direct contact with the body.
- Naturally regulates temperature , keeping you warm in winter and perfect
in climate changes. - It is breathable and odor resistant .
- Lightweight yet durable , ideal for heavy use of garments such as haramakis, mittens, hats or collars.
And above all, natural and sustainable , with RSW certification that guarantees animal welfare and care for the land.
In Superior Extra Fine Merino Wool we have found the perfect balance between comfort, tradition and sustainability.

TRADITIONAL SEAMLESS KNITTING
For the Fuji Series of merino wool we have chosen the 1x1 knit, a simple yet elegant structure that allows us to combine aesthetics and functionality.
- It adapts to the body . Its natural elasticity allows the garment to hug your shape without squeezing, returning to its original shape after use. Ideal for pieces that support movement and flatter the body, such as haramaki or mittens.
- Warm, uniform texture . The alternating knit and purl stitches create a harmonious, full-bodied yet soft-to-the-touch surface.
- Durable and stable . Being a more closed-knit material, it better withstands continued use.
- Classic and traditional . It's one of the foundations of knitting, a universal textile language that combines artisanal tradition and contemporary versatility.
The result is a breathable fabric that moves with you without you even noticing you're wearing it, and conveys the essence of our brand: natural comfort and functional beauty.
SUSTAINABLE LOCAL CLOTHING
Each piece in the Fuji Series is born from a careful and transparent process.
- Extra-fine merino wool fiber is spun and dyed in Italy , where the textile tradition remains synonymous with excellence.
- The Responsible Wool Standard (RSW) certification guarantees sheep welfare, responsible land care, and traceability throughout the supply chain.
- From Modena to Igualada (Barcelona), we collaborate with local knitwear workshops to create each garment. We've worked carefully with the details and finishes to ensure that each piece retains the warmth of a handmade product.
Each haramaki, beanie, mitten or neck warmer in the Fuji Series carries with it a story of care and respect.
With the Fuji Series, we continue to fulfill our dream of dressing you by combining design and care. Thanks to merino wool, it also reflects who we are: conscious fashion that embraces the body and respects the environment.
