At Happy Belly Barcelona we revive traditions rooted in body wellbeing and bring them up to date with contemporary design and certified natural fabrics.
About us
We are a fashion brand born in 2019 from a discovery: the haramaki, a Japanese garment that warms the core of the body and that, once you try it, you never want to take off.
Since then we have been designing fashion accessories that bring centuries-old practices back to life with every intention for life today. We believe that dressing well and taking care of yourself can be one and the same thing.

Why we exist
Because getting dressed is an everyday act and we see it as an opportunity for self-care. We want everyone who wears a Happy Belly to feel they have chosen well: for their body, for the people who made it, and for the planet.
How we do it
By bringing back garments with centuries of history, updating their design with natural materials, and committing to local production with a real impact on the local economy.

Common welfare
We fight fast fashion and stand for local production that benefits the people who make it possible. This makes our products more expensive and limits our output — but it guarantees quality and fair working conditions. It also reduces the environmental impact of long-distance transport.
We are members of the Barcelona Sustainable Fashion Association, working to make the fashion industry more ethical, ecological and free.
Our collaborators and suppliers are also local, because we believe that supporting the proximity economy is the future.
