Sizes and cut

Refer to this Size Chart to choose your haramaki:

Haramaki Size Chart

Organic cotton tends to sag with use. If you doubt between two sizes, we recommend you to choose the smaller one.

Remember the haramaki is a waist warmer, not a girdle, meaning it shouldn’t put pressure on your waist but feel comfortable, like wearing a sock or a glove. You know you have it on but it doesn’t feel tight.

If you have any questions please contact us. We’ll try to advise you using our own experience.

The haramaki has no buttons, snap fasteners or zips. Pull it on over your feet with the narrowest part at the top. To keep ypur midriff, kidneys and small of the back warm, make sure it covers you from your belly button to your hips.

Here we tell you how to put on your haramaki:

You can wear it under your clothes, or outside to add a distinctive touch to your look.

If you have any questions please contact us or you also click here to see how to put on your haramaki.

Buy a haramaki as a gift

Of course! When you get to the shopping cart page, you’ll be able to specify if the billing address is different to the shipping address. This will allow you to surprise someone with a haramaki chosen by you.

Tell us in the comments that it’s a gift and we can make a special packaging. And if you want us to add a message, send us your text and we’ll print it onto a card. 🙂

This option also means you can receive your package at your place of work or at an address of your choice.

Payment and shipping methods

Our online shop accepts three payment types:

  • Credit card using Stripe
  • Credit card using Paypal
  • Bank transfer

None of these three payment types gives us access to your bank details. If there are any problems during the transaction we’ll receive a “payment not completed” notification and we’ll contact you so you can try again.

Visit the Stripe or Paypal website for further information about processing payments and their privacy policies.

All our payments are currently in euros €.

We ship door to door, meaning that the haramakis are sent direct from our studio to the address provided. We process shipping via the Spanish post office (Correos) and we add Express Shipping services for orders needed urgently. 🙂

If you want your item to be sent to another address, you can specify this when you place your order.

We remind you that standard shipping is free for purchases over €80.

We currently ship to the Iberian Peninsula, the Balearic and Canary Islands, Andorra and the European Union. We hope to expand our shipping destinations in the future!

The average delivery time is 2 to 4 days if the item is sent to the Iberian Peninsula, Andorra, the Balearic and Canary Islands. The average delivery time for the rest of Europe is 5 to 10 days.
If you need the item sooner, please specify Express Shipping option when placing your order (this incur additional costs).

Absolutely! Your confirmation email contains a link to the carrier which will allow you to track your order.
If your haramaki hasn’t arrived by the estimated delivery date, please contact us providing your order number and date of purchase and we’ll contact the post office to check on its status.

We recommend you give an address where you know somebody will be in during normal working hours.

The post office will attempt delivery twice. If they are unable to complete the delivery at the second attempt, don’t worry, you’ll be able to collect your parcel within the next 15 days from a sorting office specified by the post office.

If there’s an error with the shipping details provided, and the post office is unable to deliver the parcel, they’ll send a notification to Happy Belly Barcelona. Before we make a refund, we’ll contact you for the correct shipping details and process your order again. In this case, you’ll be liable for additional shipping costs specified by the post office.

Returns and refunds

We know it’s not always easy to shop online! If you need a haramaki in a different size or colour, or simply want a refund, just return it to us within 7 days.

Currently the returns portal is only active for national shipments. Through our website, international returns cannot be processed at the moment.

The process is simple. Just follow these instructions and if you have any questions, please contact us.

Exchanging for a different size and returns:

  1. Click on this link and enter your postcode and order number (the one you received by e-mail). Follow the steps indicated on the form and specify why you are returning the item and your preferred refund method.
  2. Print out the post office return shipping label and take the parcel to your chosen drop off point.

Please bear in mind the following information:

  • If you have to exchange for a different size and it has been a gift (and you don’t have the order number), contact us directly.
  • If you are returning an item from the Canary Islands there may be additional customs charges payable by you.
  • The haramaki must be returned in the same condition in which it was received: unworn, undamaged and with no stains. It should not have been washed and you must include the original packaging.
  • If your order came in one of our green recycled mailers, put your haramaki inside, use the second peel-off strip to seal the package and return it to us.
  • Once we have received the haramaki and checked it is in the original condition, we will send you a new one at no additional cost.

If you are requesting a refund, we will pay back the amount you paid for the item. We only issue refunds for those items returned in the same condition in which they were sent. The refund will be made using the same payment method used when you purchased your haramaki.

Exchanges due to defects: as you know, our workshops are training centres so if you spot any defects in the stitching or manufacturing please contact us at this email address and send us a photo so we can exchange your haramaki free of charge.
